MEET YOUR ARTIST
AMAREIA MALEIGH WINDHAM
I'm a self taught artist from a small town in Ohio I moved to Florida at the age of five. From an early age, art became my language—my way of expressing thoughts and emotions when words weren’t enough. Growing up, I faced a lot of adversity and constant obstacles that forced me to mature quickly. Instead of letting those experiences define me negatively, I poured everything I had into my art.
Art became my escape, my therapy, and eventually my purpose. Every sketch, painting, and concept was a reflection of survival, growth, and resilience. In 2021, my life changed again when I lost my home in a house fire. Along with it, I lost every piece of art I had created up to that point. What could have been the end of my journey became the turning point.
That loss pushed me into tattooing—an opportunity to create something permanent, something that couldn’t be taken away. Tattooing gave me a new perspective on art: work that lives with people, carries meaning, and lasts forever. Each piece I create is intentional, rooted in story, and designed to stand the test of time.
Today, I continue to evolve as a multidisciplinary artist and licensed tattoo artist, blending fine art, tattooing, and visual storytelling. My work is a reflection of where I come from, what I’ve overcome, and the belief that art can transform pain into purpose.
